Morven Stewart

Usually found scrambling up mountains or playing in rockpools, my paintings and sketches are created outside from direct observation. I have a studio in The Creative Exchange, Perth.  But spend most of my time with my sketching kit in my rucksack or bike panniers as I wander across Scotland.

I find a huge amount of joy in drawing movement. From wild weather to dancers, live music sessions to swooping razorbills, my sketchbooks are filled with flight lines and frothing seafoam.
