Kerrera Kit List - ( 7 nights - beds/sofas)

The Plan: Travel via bus/train/ferry (and a few miles walking) from Perth to Kerrera to visit the owners of Lady of Avenel. Stop off at a friend near Ben Lawers on the way back to Perth.

All kit has to fit in one bag that I can easily walk with for 5 miles.

Planned Activities:

Walking from Oban to Gallanach to get the ferry to Kerrera.

Accommodation: 5-7 nights? Depending on weather/sofa space 

Oban - Hostel x 1 night

Kerrera - Sofa x 2/3 nights

Ben Lawers - Think there's a bed? (+ 2 kittens) x 1/2 nights

Weather: (Feb 2025) 1-3°C (Not including windchill) Storm warning - 75mph wind. Driving rain. So much rain.

Shipping Forecast: Gale force 10 for 24 hours. Dropping to Gale Force 7

Generally wet and wild!

Kerrera ferry (One local car, 12 foot passengers max, so dinky!) Crossing was a little wild! Rain smacked my face, finding all the seams in my jacket to sneak in. There were too many of us wanting to cross so the ferry came back for a handful of us.

The boggiest of paths! Not even my boots managed to stay dry on this adventure.

Too much sketching kit, but better safe than sorry.
